Can't Afford Big League Chew but........

Derrick Luccini hit his first career home run, a no-doubter over the left field fence that was an exclamation point for the Sox on the sunny Sunday and on top of that, it was in front of his two boys. Derrick floated from second to home and all the while with a huge smile from ear to ear, way to go Derrick! Billy Gross threw the ninth inning for the second pitching outing of his career.

As for the team, Waltham made it 6 of their last 7 with a 16-8 win over Brockton, with Mark Andolina getting the win.

Brockton got 5 in the 3rd to go up 6-5 but Waltham answered with 5 in the fourth to regain a lead they would not give back.

Brian Spadafino 3-4, 2 SB, 3 runs 2 RBI, Bill Gross 3-3 3 runs, 4 RBI and Derrick Luccini 3-5 with a run and 4 RBI led the sox offense. John Kroeger hits a homer for Brockton.
